LOL SR... Biggest joke since mw2.

Do explain how a series that has 2 of its 3 games released BEFORE MW2 can be the biggest joke since SR2. This board is completely retarded sometims.

I'm a fan of both the GTA series and SR series, but to be honest, if it hadn't been for GTA, I probably would have never given SR a shot. I enjoy both series for what they are, sure in terms of gameplay, they are very similar but they both have their own, ill say...flavor. GTA is more focus on story and realism, and being a different game with each game while SR is more focus on humor and being over the top random, its all one huge story line though out the games and has customization to your character and vehicles.

I love SR2, easily one of my top favorite games, it had everything one could ask for in a open world game, customization,a huge city with plenty to see and explore, humor, random moments, fun activities that make you say WTF, it just had it all, but it had its flaws. GTAIV was good as well but I feel like they upped the serious tone too much and went for too much realism but in all, its a great and fun game. SRTT was fun but it went the opposite of what GTAIV did and upped the craziness too much, taking away any seriousness the SR2 had done cause SR2 did a good job was balancing out the serious and crazy.I was disappointed in SRTT ill admit, I still enjoyed it but except for graphics and customization, SRTT was a downgrade from SR2. I'll keep my eye on SR4, see what they are going to do with it and see if I want it from day 1 or wait til it's price drops. But for now, GTAV in over SR4 on my list.

Danny Bilson briefly said in an interview with X-Play on November 9, 2011, "I already know
what Saints Row 4 is about, and it is wilder than [Saints Row: The Third]"-

I like Saints Row's focus on fun as opposed to GTA's focus on story.

However, as you play Saints Row, it becomes more and more apparent that GTA just has a much bigger production budget.

I like these games to just screw around in as opposed to doing story missions. Therefore, you would think I would prefer SR over GTA, but GTA is just so much more polished that I actually prefer screwing around in it even more than SR.

Well if they have more to offer than certain purple objects this time around I might get it. But as soon as GTA5 comes out, it'll be SRwho?
