So, I like to do missions up to a certain point in open world games to reach a point where i think it would be appropriate to start exploring. For GTA5, I feel like I want to explore and do sidequests, play stock market, things that, after two things: All 3 chars. unlocked and able to be played at will and after unlocking all side missions and what not.
Does anyone know how far i have to get to before I am able to start doing all sidequests, etc.?

If you do nothing but the main missions you'll have the 3 characters unlocked In 5hours.

Sidequests keep unlocking as you progress throughout the game. There is no 'all sidequests unlocked at X progress' thing. Hell, there are sidequests after you FINISH the game.

Just dick around to the best of your abilities.
