With the new patch?

Before Rockstar said to NOT install on your HDD because that would cause worse performance, but did they fix this with the latest patch?

It's not something that's fixable, because it's not a bug. The game was designed to stream some content off the HDD and other content off the disc. if you want to install both, you need a flash drive and a HDD.

Buy a $15 USB drive and install it to that if you need to.

Anything above usb 2.0 IIRC is not worth the money since the 360 used 2.0

so any usb 2.0 with enough storage, i think youll need atleast a 16gb since buying an 8gb doesnt give you 8...

It's always been safe to install both to the HDD. The only difference is a little more pop in's which isn't that noticable unless your going extremely high speeds in vehicles

Eh, I bought a 3.0 because then I'd know it's running at the top 2.0 speed. Plus it's always there if I upgrade. Or if the next gen consoles use 3.0 (no idea if they do...or do *yet).

that was to tc though... all i need to know now is that going 3.0 just for the 360 is stupid.

Everything loads faster if you have them separately. Switching characters is more like it was in the videos.

Install = USB
Play = HD

That's the best way to have it.
