How to have fun in this game?

Well, I've started a new game, and this time, I am paying more attention to details. Instead of rushing the heists and missions, I am doing a lot more free driving and choosing the alternative ways of doing the heists (which I didn't pick during my first playthrough).

Basically, I am doing things that I rushed or completely ignored in the first gameplay. Also, now that I know what's coming (in the missions), I am also approaching them with different strategy. E.g. in the mission where I was asked to use a flashlight attachment for the shotgun (Franklin), I used a different weapon throughout.

I also intend to buy more properties this time around.

I try to use a helicopter as my vehicle in every mission. It's different. Use the one with guns.

Maybe I should play a different game indeed as some of you so kindly suggested. However, I enjoyed gta4 n RDR for many months after I finished the story that I expected similar from gta5. I don't know when RockStar will realize they are not good at multiplayer games. They put all the good activities n missions in gtaO on purpose in order to milk the game like a free to play mobile. Unfortunate, they did it in a garbage way where NO BODY want to play missions.

I thinks it's spells failure when I can get into an online match in RDR 10 times faster with four times more players than I can in gtaO.

Yeah the online is a bit of a joke. I pretty much stopped playing because its impossible to play missions, and I actually wanted to progress through them and see what story unfolded, if any. Its kinda irritating that there are more traditional GTA missions in online, like "hey, ambush this deal and steal the coke!" and other stuff like that. I'm pretty peeved that there is soooo much more clothing online too, its ridiculous. They have all sorts of fancy hats, necklaces and watches online, but not single player, what gives?

That said, I pretty much only play GTA when I'm super bored, or a new content pack comes out. I've gone back into Diablo 3 full bore and am pretty much holding my breath for fully loaded GTA expansion packs.
Quick, to the Hinden-Peter!

^ I can barely play online anymore. I have weird hours so its rare I play with friends. Its so.. boring. Im up to level 50 something and I cant so it anymore. Sa-mp was way more fun, imo. So I made a 2nd playthrough, adding my own imagination to it and taking my time.

Help me plz! I have beat this game long ago and I just can't seem to find anything worth doing in it. I'll put my issues in below:

1. After I beat RDR, I could still take bounties, night watch, play pocket, dice, hunt, plus the many challenges. Gtav unfortunately doesn't have all these nice activities. I don't really like tennis or yoga. I like to race but it seems like races don't repeat like they do in GTAIV. So I have no more races I can do.

I enjoyed the gang wars (lost n damned)and shoot outs (RDR) so I assumes after I beat gtav that Franklin would be able to engage his enemies consistently. But unfortunately that's not the case. So I asked everyone here, what is fun to do in this game other than random shoutout with the cops which are always short lived!

Before anyone mentions it, I'm aware gta online exist and I'm also aware it's not nearly as fun as RDR was. Plus, I have no patience to wait 5-10 mins to get into a game with ONE other player that only last 5 mins.

My final grip is how slow this game runs on my 360. I mean it's real slowwww when in high traffic areas. So when the heck will RockStar release this on the ps4 already. Yes I didn't include xbone cause the game will probably run just slightly faster than it does now since xbone is a media box first and game console second.

Thank you!

Anyone notice the correlation between someone having no intelligence/imagination and bagging on the xbox one?

Oh and personally I didn't like having tons of money cause it makes the game to easy. You don't really worry about death (hospital bills), having a expensive car getting destroyed because you can afford it. So I took frank and trev and spent nearly all their cash (bought that 10 million dollar car several times and then blew em up). Now I can't rely on that massive bank roll. I have to rob stores, security trucks (the blue dot ones don't spawn for me anymore but the ones that just drop cash piles everywhere do), beat up people at ATM's etc for cash. The only steady income I have are the weekly property ones. And thats not a ton since you'll occasionally lose a car and have to upgrade it again. I didn't do it with Michael because his weekly income is insanely high from the movie theaters so it would be kind of pointless.

I don't know what good missions and activities you're referring to, unless you mean bounty hunting but that can only exist in a multiplayer setting (unless you want npc bounty hunting but they're easy enough to kill as it is). Most of the online missions are short, have low payouts and you have to replay the high paying ones over and over to make decent money. Just like in single player, free roaming is the most fun thing to do.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who find gtaO a joke. I hope RockStar will pick up on that and provide a worthwhile single player update with many more fun activities.

On a side note, I'm still perplexed as to why they took out the voice guided gps system from gta4. I really hate looking at that radar every 5 seconds when I'm driving.

IMO I feel like just adding unlimited Vigilante or Hitman missions would add tons of replay to the game. Playing simple missions as a cop or a hitman, whenever you want?

Man, that just never gets old.

Oh c'mon, you have a few valid points in your initial post but complaining about not being able to follow the GPS route marker without the voice to help you is ridiculous. To be honest I haven't even noticed it being absent in V until you mentioned it. I think I actually turned it off in IV because it was annoying. If you have difficulty glancing down ocassionally to follow the route, I'm gonna have to agree with others that you should probably play another game.
