*mid-game spoilers*

At the very beginning when Brad is killed and Michael is shot.. the shooter was agent whatever his name is that works with Michael, federal agent Morton or something. Anyway, that's the part I knew.

The part I never gave any thought to is when Brad was killed. He was killed because he walked in front of Trevor.... the shooter was aiming at Trevor.

I'm at the part of the story where Michael just told Franklin about how he had a deal with a fed... but the wrong guy got killed.

Michael tried to have Trevor killed!!! What the f***!!

Trevor is a psychopath and it was probably part of his deal with the FIB.

Michael has children to protect, and the world is a better place without someone like Trevor. You guys have twisted morals.

Michael's kids are scum and his wife is a tart. Trevor is just sick of being alone all the time and having no one care about what happens to him. The fact that his only best friend betrayed him and tried to have him killed doesn't help. Trevor is out there but he just wants to be loved. My morals are screwed because I look at both sides of the situation? The world would be a better place without Michael OR Trevor. They both kill people. Trevor has gotten the short end of the stick for long enough

Michael's kids were young when Mike betrayed Trevor, and Trevor hadn't gotten the "short end of the stick," at the point when Michael betrayed him, so that argument doesn't make much sense. The thought process is pretty simple when you think about it:

Mike wants to protect his family, so he works out a deal to get into witness protection.

Brad wasn't really dangerous compared to Michael or Trevor, so the plan was to put him in prison, and put Trevor in the ground. If Trevor only got arrested, there'd be way too much of a possibility he'd escape and kill Michael and Dave. So he has to fake his death to be able to convince Brad he'd have no hope when he's inside. Obviously the plan went backwards.

I don't blame Michael at all. When you look at it at a realitic, non-GTA standpoint, he's a bad guy who wants to get good. Best friend or not, Trevor was a maniac, and I'm sure Michael had suspicions about Trevor. In fact, Trevor says to Wade on the way to LS that him and Brad were going to cut him off. Michael just acted first.

They seem like average spoiled rich California kids to me.

Trevor is just sick of being alone

Oh, the poor sociopathic cannibal =(

Trevor has gotten the short end of the stick for long enough

He gets what he deserves, including the most painful death of all the main characters.

That's for Johnny!

HEY I love Trevor's "character" as much as the next guy, but anyone condoning or feeling sorry for the guy has problems. He's a maniac with a horribly implied childhood, kills anyone who gets in his way sometimes for fun, sometimes because of a mental break.

Yea... I agree with PineappleLion, That's for Johnny!

Okay sharing time. (Spoilers)

I beat this game twice. Both times I chose option C for obvious reasons. Why would Franklin kill his partners, that made him rich, for people that have made his life hell? If I didn't have that option, I definitely would have killed Trevor, because he is Trevor. But after playing through the game twice and hearing Franklin question Michael about his past decisions I started to wonder why I would kill Trevor. Simply because he is crazy and unpredictable? So what? I'm in control of him once the game ends.

So Trevor deserves to die because he is a sociopath with anger issues? He was neglected by his father, mistreated by his mother, and rejected by the Air Force. When he's down in the dumps, Michael Townley comes along, introduces him to the bank robbing business, calls him his best friend, USES him on God knows how many bank jobs, and then sells him out to the feds. Then Michael runs away to the west coast with his family to live in a mansion, while Trevor is left mourning the lost of his two closest friends, not knowing how dirty Michael did him. If you guys were put in his shoes and found out what Michael did in the manner Trevor did, you cannot sit there behind your keyboards and tell me you wouldn't be at least A LITTLE ticked off. But it's okay to do that to him because he is just a psychopath with anger issues that deserves no better.

Everyone has a good and bad side. But lets ALL be close minded and ignore Trevor's good side because he is just a crazy mad man. Trevor saved Franklin's life in that drug deal gone bad AND saved Michael's life when the FIB, Merryweather, and the Agency came crashing down on him. Trevor is crazy as hell but Michael's kids still loved him like a close uncle and spoke of him often. Trevor saved Patricia from an abusive relationship and never harmed her in anyway. People speculate that Trevor would kill Michael's whole family but I truly believe Trevor could not do that to kids that showed him love like that. No evidence to support that he would or wouldn't go through with it

Now about Michael's kids. You make a good point that they were very young when Michael turned on Trevor but saying that they are like average rich kids in Cali doesn't make them any less scummy. Jimmy needs to stop blaming his dad for everything including being a fat, do nothing, jobless slob. Tracey needs to find the definition of self worth without doing porn, popping pills, and degrading herself on national TV. These are facts

Stop praising Johnny like he was the best character in the game! Johnny from GTA4 was a boss. He didn't take crap from ANYONE and took out WHOEVER who crossed him or his gang. Johnny from Liberty City would have assembled his gang and devastated Sandy Shores the FIRST time Trevor messed with his girl. But this meth head Johnny doesn't even come CLOSE to the old one. He goes to Trevor's trailer and just WHINES about him banging his girl?! TF was that though?!? Trevor did Johnny and the lost MC a huge favor by stomping his brains in.

You say Michael did it for his family. Okay, fine. I'm sure getting a new house in LS, keeping some of your stolen cash, and avoiding jail time and/or death did not factor into his final decision whatsoever. It's all for the good of the family. Whatever.

I feel like people hate Trevor because out of the three main characters he is clearly the one made out to be the person you are SUPPOSED to hate. Read between the lines, things are not always black and white. Michael was a chronic liar right up to the point Trevor was digging up Brad's grave. There's not much I hate more than a liar. Trevor rarely lies and that means something to me. Michael's built up a lot of bad karma. I formed my own opinion on these characters and the majority rule won't change it.

I still love Michael as a character but I won't ignore the red in his ledger
