"Possible"
Was there any doubt it would be localized?

Not really. The question was by who.

I love how vague they are about whether or not they're doing it, ah legalities.
As a reference what other localizations has XSEED done? ie: is this good news because they're a good company or bad news because they might **** it up?

Here's a list of games they've done: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XSEED
XSeed localized Rune Factory Frontier for the Wii and from what I've heard, people wanted them to do another RF game due to the fact that they got Frontier out in the US 4 months after it was released in Japan and the dub they did was good compared to the prior game released under Natsume, Rune Factory 2 (before Natsume switched dubbing companies)

They're a pretty nice company IMO

Oh, I do hope so. Natsume did a good job with 3 and Tides of Destiny, but their were both still not as good as XSEED's localisation of Frontier. My only worry would be that XSEED might mess up on some of the names again, as they did with Frontier (they got the names of Tori and the Sech's Empire wrong, and there may have been more I'm nor remembering).
Also, I thought Marvelous decided not to use XSEED anymore, due to sales of Frontier not meeting Marvelous' expectations?

Yay! XSEED has been one of my favorite localizers for a while now, so this is certainly good news...

I hope this is accurate, XSEED is great. Not my favorite, but they're close.

And in what way would they "**** it up", exactly?
