I mean all different sides have their own maps and moments altough some share moments that others had, so my question is how historically correct are the story modes?

I think it's generally much more accurate than previous games, though there are strange things like Sun Jian's children fighting with him in the YTR and Ma Dai living a long ass time. Character personalities are also obviously pretty exaggerated or completely stretched for dramatic effect, like with Liu Shan and Sima Zhao. --- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/cwistofu/younha-combo.jpg

That reminds me of Sima Yi. He's the closest thing to "evil" in the story, but from the research I did, IRL he was a really cool guy who was very beloved by his subjects. No idea why they made him evil in the story.

That is strange, now that I think about it. What about in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, as opposed to historically accurate accounts? Is he a villain in that? Because fact of the matter is, I don't think I've played a single RotTK video game that didn't cast Sima Yi as the biggest villain and greatest evil around.
