Damn Periah Dog

How do I get rid of this damn dog? I attack him, but he never gets out of the wounded stage. I don't know if you guys have ran into him much, but he was a random encounter around a bunch of dead bodies. He follow me around and gives out tons of critical misses to both me and my guys. I don't care for it.

He got like 999 HP. So.... er.... Big Guns point blank burst. Or patience.

Personally I have always used better criticals but I assume you have such low luck that it isn't an option.

Yeah, he has 700 HP, IIRC. You're going to need a lot of patience or just go to the Sierra Army Depot and extract his brain twice, or you can station him on the electric floor in there and wait for him to die. Your best bet is the latter. Or the first one if you have the ammo.

I just pounded him to death with the super hand or whatever. I have 7 luck as well.

If you're going to take out the cursed mutt, yourself, might I suggest that you find a small building, lure him inside with you, and close the door. That way, once you start perforating/pounding/carving that accursed mongrel in unlucky dog bits, he can't run away from you. It still might take a while, but at least you won't have to chase him all over the place, since the dog can't open doors.

^Yea that's what I kind of did, I killed him in the tanker. He stopped moving after awhile, maybe I crippled his legs and didn't notice.

Be warned that the jinxed trait doesn't always go away when the dog does...

Oh that trait, would it be beneficial if I had 10 luck? Either from the dog or from character creation? Because if it can cause my enemies to critical miss, that would be good.
