I think it's kind of ludicrous to have to pay more than the price of the game for just over 50 more songs. I'm not going to let it stop me from getting some of the songs I love that didn't make the cut. But damn, it'll all add up over time and ill probably want more once I have more...
DLC is the devil...
My face flashing crimson from the fires of hell Know where to run before there's nowhere to run
Well, I don't feel too bad about it to be honest and I've bought all of the DLC. Maybe it's because I'm getting in the habit of only buying games and investing times into ones that I REALLY want. If it is something that just looks cool or I don't REALLY want it then I'm not going to buy it or put time into it.
Because of this, every gaming session I have feels a bit more worthwhile than it used to. In the not so distant past (when I first got my job) I would just buy games because I wanted them. It never put me in a bad place financially but I just had a lot of games sitting around and my attention was spread pretty thin.
Now that I'm making it a rule to only buy games that I really want and NOT if I have any kind of backlog, I enjoy it more.
Sorry for the blog but here's my point: I'd rather invest a lot of money into one game I really want and know I'll play forever (90 or so hours at this point), than an equal amount of time and money on a lot of different games that I know I won't enjoy so much. So really, I'm enjoying myself more with less than when I had more.
