So with all the DLC this game is close to $100.

How does that make you guys feel?

I think it's kind of ludicrous to have to pay more than the price of the game for just over 50 more songs. I'm not going to let it stop me from getting some of the songs I love that didn't make the cut. But damn, it'll all add up over time and ill probably want more once I have more...

DLC is the devil...

I'm 187 hours in and I haven't even bought all of the DLC.
This game is worth more than 100$!

How does it make me feel?

Hmm...

Well, I don't feel too bad about it to be honest and I've bought all of the DLC. Maybe it's because I'm getting in the habit of only buying games and investing times into ones that I REALLY want. If it is something that just looks cool or I don't REALLY want it then I'm not going to buy it or put time into it.

Because of this, every gaming session I have feels a bit more worthwhile than it used to. In the not so distant past (when I first got my job) I would just buy games because I wanted them. It never put me in a bad place financially but I just had a lot of games sitting around and my attention was spread pretty thin.

Now that I'm making it a rule to only buy games that I really want and NOT if I have any kind of backlog, I enjoy it more.

Sorry for the blog but here's my point: I'd rather invest a lot of money into one game I really want and know I'll play forever (90 or so hours at this point), than an equal amount of time and money on a lot of different games that I know I won't enjoy so much. So really, I'm enjoying myself more with less than when I had more.

50 songs? be grateful, the Australian store has only 10 on it. And for $1.50 each

I stand corrected. I booted up that game for the first time and unlocked the ability to purchase more... there is so many. Are the ones in the store also in that list?

While the DLC would be more appealing if it were cheaper, it's really not terrible. I haven't bought any DLC, and likely won't get any except from my favorite titles if I come across some extra cash.
