I can't beat OWA on Ultimate

I get as far as the Summon or Feature Zone (with help of Phoenix Pinion) and then I fail..Its not that I'm terrible at it, I just can't tap, hold, and slide that quickly :/

Exactly as said. Play other songs and play the Chaos Shrine for a while to unlock some stuff, and in no time you'll find it a lot easier!

What other songs do I need to play on to practice? I have everything else done through ultimate, except OWA.

I wouldn't recommend necessarily going off doing other stuff. If you're good enough to complete all the other Ultimate songs, it seems to be a particular problem with OWA for you, not Ultimate in general. I guess I should ask you what is the main problem? Speed or the actual note formation?

Everyone has their own ways of practicing, but I'll give my spin on how I do it for both of those:

I go to the song and attempt to get through as much as possible, which usually ends in a fail but that's okay, I should at least know how some of it goes. Next, I play through and pause the game when I notice my health is low. Then, I hit Retry Song. It doesn't count as a Fail (neither does returning to the Challenge Menu), so I have no problem there and that way I slowly, but surely end up memorising the song. I don't go to any other songs inbetween since it'll mess up the rhythm I have. Now, if I struggle with speed, I end up adjusting pretty quickly this way. The actual notes themselves also do not become a problem since memorisation puts me almost on auto-pilot for about half the song, certainly 'til the summon.

I can now do the starting sequence to OWA on Ultimate like it was the back of my hand. I don't even need to see the arrows; I know what direction they'll be. Of course you don't need that level of memory, but being able to at least hit Goods for most of them is enough.

So that's my way: literally repeat the song until I have it down, which is basically a fancy phrase for repetitive practice since that is really the only way to deal with BMS' on Ultimate. I do the same when I want to S rank something (or higher). I get it within about 5 or 6 tries usually. Feel free to try it if you think it could help. :)

What NegaZelda said. Strange, I found OWA to be one of the easiest BMS themes on ultimate.

Its mostly an issue with the quick multi directional arrows, like up, left, down, down, up, left within 5 secs.

That's not the actual order, but an example. I'll take an approach like NegaZelda suggested.

Same, I mean holy **** how fast it is on Ultimate :<

I can beat some FMS songs on ultimate easily but BMS's are just too fast for me.

If you are going to get/have the DLC, then Force Your Way on Ultimate with kill you your first time through for sure. FFIX Battle 2 and FFX Final Battle are also rather high on the difficulty scale (though the latter's easy when you can get the main rhythm down). Have fun. :)
