You can't see your feet in this game

Instant fail, I will be returning this game immediately.

Totally ruins the immersion, IMO.

Play with your feet right below the screen?

You must not play many first-person games then.

I was just kidding. :>

I actually am loving this game. Seeing those two guards get devoured by rats was a highlight.

actually, you could see your feet in arx fatalis i think, which was one of arkane's previous games. not that anyone here played it, i bet...
so, not such a ridiculous expectation.

I totally forgot about that game until you said something. That game was awesome, though I did have a problem casting spells. Nothing was worse than trying to cast in mid combat, to easy to make mistakes, spell goes dude and you end up with a face full of sword. It's been YEARS since I played that. I think I may have to obtain another copy, I never did beat it.

A quick assassin never gets to see his feet.

Also, morbidly obese people.

I find seeing your feet when you look down in games to be distracting.

in RL you have what you focus on, and peripheral vision. in games all you have is what you focus on. games cant accurately convey that.
