Dishonored

I'm on the second mission and I did Granny Rag's first task to deal with the thugs. Then she mentioned that I should go infect the distillery, but I never got an objective marker for it and when I try to use the still it just says "missing an empty vial," which I've used to create a couple elixirs for myself. What am I doing wrong?
