Glad I started reading Cosmic Marvel...

Started with pre-annihilation and then read up to and through the Thanos Imperative a few months ago. Thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy and the Nova series I'm actually familiar with Nova and Rocket Raccoon, two characters (especially Rocket) who otherwise would have been obscure as hell for me.

Pretty hype for Rocket Raccoon myself, never ever would have guessed him as a possible character.

Im curious what their movesets will look like. Nova will definitely have a lot of flight and beam based moves.

RR must have a lot to do with his pistol.

I'm looking through Marvel.com and Rocket Raccoon doesn't even have a proper page.

Agree with this.

I love Cosmic Marvel, but I still can't believe Nova made it over Thanos as the cosmic character that Lupinko tweeted about. The latter is a Vs. veteran (including being the boss of MSH), is going to be in the Avengers movie next year, and is easily one of the biggest threats in the Marvel universe. I would have thought Thanos was a shoe-in especially considering that Marvel likely pushed for him, but I guess that wasn't the case.

Really, Annhilation is all that matters, you should check that out, see who you like, and then maybe grab their series, I personally really like Nova. But GG is good as well.

This!!! There are tons of characters that are more relevant than him. How about Thanos, S.Surfer, Ms Marvel, Black Panther??? Marvel lost points with me on this move.

The stuff leading into Annihilation was a great place to start for me, then the story arcs just kept on rolling with War of Kings, Realm of Kings, and finally the Thanos Imperative. I'd find a reading list so you can follow it chronologically. Those series were the most interesting things I've read from Marvel in a long time for me. Tons of faces i've never seen before, and the Cosmic stuff is on a whole another scale as far as the impact of events and conflicts. Galactic threats all the time and universal calamities. Loved it.
