not a diss thread by any means. But what importance does he hold in the comics? I've never seen/heard of him in the comics or in any media up till now. --- You're a fool with more money than sense, and if you keep that up, you'll have less cents than sense.- Paradox_much

"For some silly-ass reason, Rocket Raccoon has been deemed worthy of a slot on the roster for "Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3". His inclusion in said game serves as further evidence that Capcom is currently out of it's goddamn mind!" --- You're a fool with more money than sense, and if you keep that up, you'll have less cents than sense.- Paradox_much

Rocket Raccoon is a space raccoon of human intelligence who was a former worker at a advanced mental asylum in space. He is a demolitions expert in particular, and prior to the recent Guardians of the Galaxy, he wasn't heard of much, though he did have a run in with the Hulk.
Post Annihilation, Rocket joined Peter Quill's Guardians of the Galaxy, a group dedicated to stopping intergalactic threats before they spread to cataclysmic levels. In this group, he was usually paired with Groot, a giant space tree man alien thing, who he usually rode on. The two even got a mini after the Guardians were disbanded. Odds are Groot will show up in some form in Rocket's moveset. As a fighter, he's likely to be somewhat close to Cable, as he usually used advanced alien weaponry/guns. --- (9^_^)--------0(x_X^) Official ungrateful jerk of RI.
