Kubota escape

I just read this on fubarduck's twitter:

"Kubo has a new, never-before-seen technique in UMVC3 called the "Kubota Escape". It will change the way the game is played after EVO."

"Everyone be sure to watch out for the "Kubota Escape" if Kubo plays on stream. The crowd and stream chat are gonna go wild."

so, any thoughts on what it is?

As I read about this particular move, it reminded me of a video I once watched about a move that would similarly change the way something else was done due to its devastating effectiveness.

I'm trying this new thing where I use tvtropes jargon to analyze things. So far, my original suspicions seem to be coming true: It IS making me look idiotic.
