Any update or sequel planned?

For me, I'm going to focus on Marvel vs. Capcom 4. My roster (if I was Seth Killian) would be:

Seth doesn't work at Capcom anymore. And he didn't really choose the roster to begin with..

UMvC3X should be announced soon.

I remember that old rumor. A shame nothing came out of it.

This.

I mean I didn't really want a balance patch (lol @ people saying Wesker was broken) I just wanted more characters so more series could get reps. (Rival Schools, Godhand, etc.) and Volnutt should have been ported from TvC to shut up MM fans and introduce a different playstyle. I had a lot of fun with him.

In a way, I am happy that there is no sequel planned.

I'm not a fan of how modern fighters become obsolete within a few months due to "super" versions or patches. It is great that we are getting a chance to really discover UMvC3 and watch the game evolve.

I would be ok with maybe 2 - 4 DLC characters, but personally, I'd rather let this game be.

As for the next game, I'd like to see either DC vs. Capcom or Marvel vs. DC.

I'd want it to be on the PS4 / Xbox 720 / WiiU and I'd want to see it in 2014 or 2015.

Constant updates are great. They only add more to a game. I remember the old days when Kof, SF and the VS games all got new updates annually. Now people are scared of it for whatever reason.

VS games didn't get annual updates per se. More like sequels.

X-Men Vs. SF, MSH Vs. SF, MvC, MvC2, etc. all came out within a year or so of the preceding game.

I still prefer letting a game breathe for 2 - 3 years before getting an update though.
