Struggling to land Nova's OTG 6H (ground punch) after his j.S

Its like he won't do the 6H. Sometimes he will move forward because I'm pressing forward but the punch won't come out until the opponent gets up.

The strangest part about this is this is the only combo that I have a better execution rate online than offline.

You usually want to to MMH -> Fly -> LMH -> S -> Forward H. I've had it be alot more consistent when I do it that way.

When you do air magic series, go into flight and do J.L,J.M, J.H, j.S. The purpose of this is so that when you land the J.S in the end, you'll be hitting the opponent's feet and you'll have enough time to connect the 6H. Try it.

What is the difference that makes the OTG easier??

Also any tips on getting his Fly LMH to work? I struggle with his fly/unfly stuff.

Do you need to "fast fly" like WarMachine and Sentinel in the old ones? (QCB neutral LMH)

The reason that helps is because it lifts the opponent higher during your air magic series, allowing all the hits of j.S to connect, which is what you need to hit the 6H.

Oh.

I wonder what makes it connect easier in massive lag? Its the only move that I know of that I can do consistently online but not off.

The height difference is the main issue if you want to connect nova slam after j.S. The lower you are compared to him the more time you have to connect nova slam. If you don't plan to fly mid-air combo then you will have to delay your two M's a little if you still want to connect 6H. If you don't delay, 6H will wiff.
