people keep falling out of my prop shredder randomly

never happened before, but now it seems like 50% of the time they just instantly tech out instead of getting launched.

is there some trick to this? did the game get stealth patched? do I just have hams for hands?

Its either hit stun scaling taking effect, or poor spacing. Do your combo better.

There's some kind of glitch where if you mash it too much they can tech out of it.

you're not letting the animation end. if you're hitting up too soon dante will jump up before the "launch" property sends the enemy upwards or high hitstun scaling.

Uh, no and no.

Mashing or hitting up too soon doesn't change anything.

1) Hitstun scaling. Do a short combo before it, or do the same combo faster.

2) They're too high in the wheel. At a certain height, prop doesn't hit properly, and it loses some hits required to keep them stunned and launch them, so wait a split second longer after the charge shot.

It's a common problem for Dante players; when I first started using him, I did the prop too soon all the same.

When I first started using Shopping Cart, I had to learn that..

sLMH6H xx BC Volcano, jH xx airplay, jH, sMH xx Cold Shower xx Prop

works, but

Cart, cart ends, sLMH6H blahblah Prop

Does not.

huh guess you're right. i thought you could cancel the prop shredder animation prematurely if you hit jump guess not.
