To the players of the MvC2 era...

Did any pros or regulars ever went to Las Vegas during the time of MvC2? It just dawned on me that I might have played with some pros as a kid without realizing about it.
I mean the movement was simply amazing with the Storms, Sentinels, Magnetos, and Psylockes...
Granted it may have been around the time of EVO.

I was there so long ago. When I went to Buffalo Bill or something, I play MvsC2 at the arcade. Then there was Excalibur where the arcade was under it. Then there wer another one. So sad, there were no one playing MvsC2. Just myself, I guess.

Until MvsC3 came out, I kinda lost the skill of MvsC2 and hooked up with U/MvsC3.

Oh, about EVO, I couldn't go because I didn't have enough money to travel to Las Vegas. I was so poor! T_T

Evo wasn't always held in Vegas, when I stopped following the FGC in 2004, Evo was held at a university in Cali. Though that doesn't discount the chance that you may have played a big name.
