I can't watch the video, but how come there are some saying it's confirmed and others saying he's just talking? What exactly did he say? Did he say, "I want/hope" or did he say "it's official?"

I hope they buff Hsien-Ko and She-Hulk.

I still don't see why meter build in AV is so bad to many people . . .

If you literally just superjump, double/triple-jump, and/or fly all day (taking at worst, some chip from HM), you've effectively wasted her AV time. There are MANY characters that can do this; hell, I've seen Chris G do this with just AKUMA.

But then you got characters like Firebrand & Ryu, who it's ok to keep meter build in their installs, even their special states persist after being tagged out. I mean, really?

Seriously, if you watch enough Chris G matches, you'll see he isn't usually sitting on a crapton of meter for Morrigan (OR Vergil) unless he gets a HB or TACs to Doom . . .

I don't think you should build meter in buff hypers period. But the fact that Morrigan has soul drain to help her build meter just made me mention her oppose to the others. Everybody has to sacrifice something to get a buff. Morrigan doesn't (and Firebrand). It's not even about Chris G or Doom assist. It's strictly about the character. Special states after the tag out are cool. Even if Morrigan stayed in AV I think it would be cool.

Ok, that makes a lot more sense, thanks for the clarification.

Oh, and just to make sure I understand, you said meter gain should be restricted to Soul Drain only in AV, right? So in other words, if someone does the stuff we see in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2I_B7rSK4E&feature=relmfu, that's (largely) fair, right?

Well fair is hard thing to put in context in this game. But considering all the other things going on in the game (mainly one touch kills) I don't see what's wrong with the combo. I think that's more of the "fair" one touch kills in the game.

Man this is going to suck if they really did listen to whiners and nerfed Morrigan. -_-

If this somehow does turn out to be true, I'm just gonna sit back and chuckle at all the people whining about nerfs.

He's definitely dropping Morrigan if they nerf her Astral Vision so she doesn't gain meter anymore. He said that she's worthless if she can't gain meter in Astral Vision, but I don't think he will go back to Ryu.
