People dont use him because you have to learn a combo that isnt LMHSMMHS. His damage is not as bad as people say, do guys know how much damage you get just from chucking rangs? He has a lot of good match ups, a very capable character to use in high level play.

I gave him plenty of playtime in TvC.. He really doesn't feel the same in this game nor does he really stand out. =/

Even though I main Joe now, my usage with him isn't that high. The reason for this is because I only picked up Joe after a long character/team crisis.

Why do I play him? I like his playstyle, his combos are fun to do, IAD Voomerang is also fun to do (and effective), and some other stuff.

Regarding Joe's voice. Capcom actually did try to acquire his original voice actor (they mentioned this on a live stream forever ago), but the problem was that they ended up talking to his manager, instead of the actor himself. The manager apparently demanded a ridiculously large sum of money that Capcom wasn't willing to pay, and well... you see how that turned out.
