ie.
for well-balanced teams

frank west must be in 2nd slot and paired with (spencer, nova, tron, skrull, wolverine, dante)
frank west on point must have dante in second
wolverine and akuma is the way to go
(phoenix, strider, sentinel, akuma, arthur) is always anchor
Morridoom of course
if a heisen-ko is on point, it's probably gonna super and tag out
doom is second for meter building TAC
characters that fill in slots are (doom, wesker)

People always think they have a game figured out until the metagame shifts after x amount of time for x reason. There's still a crapload of...ugh..."tech" that people still aren't using with the good chars and honestly, there is a lot of sloppiness still going around in this game even at a high level.

this is probably why i seem to doubt my own thoughts about this game
looking at SCR, i know mr. Rog is on top but in all honestly wolverine is just derp-ness

No, the marvel community is overall kinda lazy(myself included). People still don't use the double TAC tech against phoenix, and play certain matchups terribly wrong.

Is this your first Marvel game? This game isn't half over. Mvc2 didn't even start getting good until 3 years into the game. Mvc1 didn't start getting real until after most people quit playing it. Online grinders took that game to places OG players didn't even know existed.

"tech", information, and the skill of high level players have increased dramatically since then.

I think this game is nearing its peak. With the amount of information exchanged on a daily basis, this game is probably tapped out or nearly tapped out.

When we're killing every character off of every hit, and the mixups are getting so intense we can't really block them, just guess, how much more is there to find out?
