Chris G's first place reign of all the majors in the past six months?
Replace Chris G with Justin Wong, then turn six months to five years until Yipes and Sanford came along. --- Main: Nova/Spencer/Hawkeye Side: Strider/Dante/Doom

He was top 5 iirc --- If you get called a spammer in a fighting game then you're doing something right.

He won Evo in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010 --- UMvC3: Sentinel/???/Dormammu

He's considered one of the four gods of Marvel 2. The other three are IFC Yipes, Chris Schmidt, and Sanford Kelly. --- Taking a break from Marvel. Playing Bayonetta, Blazblue, MK9, KOF 13, SF: 2012 AE, SFxT, and Kingdoms of Amlalur.
He went about 3 years between losing at his peak. That's not hyperbole, he literally never lost a tournament he entered for years. Had some crazy comebacks to preserve his streak. I think Sanford was the one who finally ended it but he completely owned mvc2. Everyone else was playing for 2nd until other people finally stepped up.
You can't compare it to Chris G since he loses sometimes. He lost just a couple majors ago at scr.

IIRC, people went as far as to ban him from certain tournaments. That's how good he was. --- The Official Miles Edgeworth of the Ace Attorney 5 Board PSN: Scaler24 UMvC3 Team: Zero/Wright/Ammy

He was the king of runaway with Storm. Like others said here, he literally went years without losing. It took Sanford stepping it up to bring him down. Yipes was the only other player that got to that level. Chris Schmidt came really close to being the fourth, though. --- http://www.last.fm/user/BassVII

what about Dark Prince?
ok, I'm trolling
Clockw0rk beat Dark Prince. His team was Strider, Dr. Doom, and Cable (I think?) --- "Get up!! Show me your true power!" Ryu's victory in SF3
