How do you hit hitleer?

I've played this part from the checkpoint on about 20 times. After you elminate the tank and he heads for the train, I just can't nail the shot. Does anyone have any advice about how to actually succeed in hitting him? The scope is not that great, and to top it off, he moves at a zig zag making him impossible to hit. Anyone actually pull it off yet? | |
when i killed him, i hit him in the leg first then finished with a double lung shot while he was stunned --- To put it scientifically, we need to blow its brains out its ass | |
Did you strike him right as he came out from after the tank being destroyed? I just can't land a shot on him.... | |
This is very difficult if you are not great with being able to lead your target. Right after you destroy the tank and he takes off, use your RB button to slow down your scope movement and lead him about 2 mil dot on the scope. You may need to lead him closer to 3 mil dots, it depends on your angle. The key is to use the RB button to slow everything down or its just dumb luck you hit him. --- What you know about that... | |
Alright, I cheesed out and played this mission on cadet. Lame way to play, but I finally got the kill...even if in lame fashion....this bonus mission was not nearly as good as I would have liked, and rather than having to kill a gazillion guys to get a shot at a moving target, I wish the level was designed where you had to stealthily take everyone out, only to be rewarded with a nice clear shot of hitler and the ability to execute him with time and finesse... | |

I thought the level itself was great. Why would you want to just stealthily drop the most evil man in history? Screw that. I want him to know hes going to die. Can you imagine what he wouldve been thinking seeing that convoy go up, and his troops dropping like flies around him as he cowers in terror, seemingly miles away from the safety of the train? He has to run, knowing he's about to die. I thought initially the level sucked because as soon as he made his first move, I dropped him like a bad habit and it just ended. After playing it again and missing that initial shot at him, I saw what it was actually going for. Wave of enemies, he runs, wave, run, rinse repeat. I think the level is really fun, aside from that bit at the train station before the vantage point. | |

Personally, I'd rather have him not know. I'd want to line up the shot from a mile away, staring at him as he gave a rousing speech, and sipped his tea. I'd want to watch the expressions on his clueless face, and whisper something inspiring to myself as I prepared to pull the trigger, and enjoy knowing that he'd be dead before her ever heard the shot. I wouldn't want fear and terror going through his mind unless I was pulling the trigger on him point blank. No, from range, I'd want it to be "one moment you're king of the master race, the next you're collapsing in a heap. Dead before you hit the ground." I'd want everyone in his Army to feel the panic of "Damn! They just got HITLER! Not with columns of tanks and bombers. Yup, I'm in total agreement with dls on this one. THAT would have been the ideal way to kill hitler; not nailing him with a lucky shot as he sprints to the train.... |
