So, is it better to run a suppressor, or no suppressor. Usually it is smart to pair a suppressor with assassin because there are UAVs up all the time (so no red dot = no benefit) and assassin without a suppressor is useless (constant red dot).

Rushing: People say that it is better so you can easily flank the enemy, is it really that helpful?

Defensive playing: If you are holding down a quarter of a map, does staying of the radar really help?

Camping: Don't Camp plz.

Is it very beneficial to run suppressor on assault rifles/ smg or should you just use something else? What kind of play styles can benefit from a suppressor? What kind of play styles can benefit from no suppressor?

I like using the suppressor. Usually I have an SMG with suppressor + range and run around like crazy. Works for me but I'm not really the cautious type.

Usually i never use a suppressor. but on occasion ill put suppressers on a closerange weapon. the reason being because, i dont like all the hit markers you get when you shoot people from a ways away. but for close range suppressors are great!

It's great for flanking and cqc if the enemy hasn't seen you.

I love my supressor. I found that it really helped me from long range with the ACR and SCAR, without it the muzzle flash really got in the way, but using it I can pull off long-range kills easily. I'm also a flanker, so I love getting behind the other team and mowing them all down. I also think supressors cause all kinds of confusion because people have no idea where the shots are coming from.

No suppressor offers less damage drop off over range, so its always max damage.

You can tell the damage difference over time, but suppressor is a good way to stay alive.

No suppressor=more damage
Suppressor=stealth but less long range damage

Only against randoms, playing against decent/better players doesn't cause confusion for them.

I generally use a suppressor, coz it makes me die less often, which is good. I'm a rusher. And I am a flanker.

I love those moments when I mow down three or more enemies from behind.:P That's only possible with a suppressor. And you would be surprised how many players are listening for footsteps.

Dunno about area defense. I am still surprised that this works but there might be a chance that unsuppressed shooting may even help here, as you want to attract enemies to your area (not all at once though).

Less damage in this game simply means you have to keep the trigger pressed for ANOTHER 0.05 seconds to get a kill. It's barely even noticeable in the grander scheme of things.

The advantages, mainly tactical, far outweigh the disadvantages of it. Against a noob team, you'll absolutely tear them apart if you take the initiative and go on the offensive, against experienced and skilled teams, it's an attachment that will keep you alive longer. You'll give up far less deaths against the best if you stay off the radar than when you keep showing up on it.

Suppressors are awesome! I always use them. For me they are mandatory.

I would recommend using an assault rifle, two attachments, suppressor and ACOG or Thermal, have scavenger, hardline, and stalker, use a bouncing betty or claymore, then either smoke, concussion, or flash bang. For a secondary use the stingers.

For your killstreaks use helicopter, reaper, AC-130. Play domination, capture 2 points and then camp.

You're welcome.

I always do this and get accused of cheating hahaha!
