Is this game seriously going to have a dubstep soundtrack?

Ugh, I suddenly lost all excitement I had for this game.

Good. If you lose interest over a games soundtrack, you don't deserve to enjoy it's glory.
Quoting the Topic Creator's original post is stupid and redundant.
I'm here for intelligent arguments or flaming. It's your job to decipher which.

Your excitement was based on what type of music is featured in the game?

Seek... Hide... Kill... anything else is of no importance.

Who buys a game based on soundtrack, unless it's guitar hero/rockband/etc?

Cool, you sound like someone I wouldn't enjoy playing co-op with anyway. You should probably pass on this one for sure.

As long as I can replace it with my own music library like in the first game then it won't be an issue. Although the first game's soundtrack was pretty good, I liked listening to my own music sometimes.

Hopefully the dubstep in the trailer was just a pisstake on the dubstep fad that seems to have caught on like wildfire.

Probably was a pisstake since the trailer said something like "100% more WUBWUBWUB"

That was actually electric house playing up until the Claptrap part.

But Cage the Elephant was PERFECT for the first game...

The WUB WUB was for the trailer, I'm sure. Just like Cage the Elephant had very little to do with the actual music in Borderlands.
