In the new Sir Hammerlock video at 5:33...


...the screen shows a character leveling up. Not sure which one it is but at lv 50 they have 36,880 hit points.

Yeah I noticed the numbers in this game seem a lot bigger than the first.

There was a rocket launcher for level 30s that did something like 16k damage. I expect we'll be hitting a million or so with the higher tier weapons.

These types of videos usually have modded characters in them, so I wouldn't take too much to heart.

...but not always, so you never know...

Its like what they did in MW2 they x10 all your points and xp. Its a simple trick that works quite well. People like big numbers.

Thats exactly what it is. They pointed this out in an article about features that make games addicting and this was one of the big ones. Humongous flashy numbers.

mmmmmmmm big numbers.

final fantasy 13 did that and it was one of the few things i did enjoy out of that game, hitting monsters for 999,999 damage each hit.....glorious
