a lot of those bonuses are from kill skills, & turret being out ( long cooldown ).. Commando is nice though, he may be my first alt

110% damage of which 50% is permanent. : D

on topic tho: I initially wanted to play gunzerker, but after a quick glance through the skills earlier this year I felt instantly turned off. I hate gun swapping and pistols even more. I want a shot gun and nothing else - so I swapped him with commando, which makes a shot gun build possible.
Also, gunzerking doesn't copy your current gun which I find sad (rather focus on 1 godly gun then 2).

the swapping and the pistols are only on one side of the tree though and If you have 1 godly gun AND another gun that just equals more damage. I'm not seeing what your getting at but axton is cool either way.

Gun swapping is only one side of the tree but the gunzerker does require a bit of micro managing his gunlust tree if you want maximum damage.

The brawn tree also isnt that great to secondary in.

That's my Gunzerker Pistol build. I call it the "Chow Yun Fat". 2 pistols all day long.

well I dunno, since you're basically build somewhat around zerking you want to maximize it, and I feel that more of a burden to find 2 guns (2 shot guns at that). on the other hand, having a spare slug shot gun to increase the first gun is dope.

this is how I'd spec with a shot gun in mind:
http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/gunzerker.php?550050550000550005000050000000000

the +magazin size and +ammo skills are quite handy in combination with the fire rate increase, but other then that I had a hard time finding skills I actually want : D

Check out this end game build I came up with.. Almost every skill has synergy.. It involves having 4 nasty revolvers, some elemental.. Swapping guns like a mad man..

http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/gunzerker.php?555531550510500000000000000000000

Notice how filled to the brim is going to BENEFIT money shot.. Get it closer to the 10 size clip for maximum bonus.. You will ALWAYS not matter what have 40% pistol / revolver damage.. You will NEVER EVER need to reload.. You will also get +40% revolver damage after each swap for first bullet.. Also a nice +35% crit hit damage to make epic revolvers 1 shot anything.. Increased fire rate to make them babys sing.. Zerking 2 revolvers brings even more pain..last but not least, lets not even bring up what no kill like over kill will be like for revolvers..

I was going to main Maya but this SERIOUSLY has me changing my mind.. A none stop revolver firing mad man, with no reload..

Zerk will be OP because of Zerk, which you have no points in. Pay attention to the percentage of bonuses your getting in that build. Now head over to the Zer0 skill tree and look at his bonuses.

35% percent crit damage making "epic revolvers 1 shot anything"? Please. If 35% crit damage could be that devastating, they wouldn't be handing it out in the THOUSANDS to Zer0.

I'm unsure why you would think no kill like over kill would specifically benefit revolvers.

I'm also not sure why you would make a comment like, You will NEVER EVER need to reload, but have 5/5 points in Locked and Loaded. I'm guessing it is because you plan on doing a lot of weapon swapping... presumably once every 8-10 shots.

I get what you are going for, but his OP is going to come out of builds like this:

http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/gunzerker.php?550000500000550500505100000000000

Where he's in a perpetual state of gunzerking. Most likely with dual pistols or dual rocket launchers or dual shotguns, for there low magazine size.

If you really like shotguns, you can also build a good shotgun zero as well. Thats how I plan to build him when I hit PL2

Shotgun Zero, eh? Please, go on...

That is my current co-op shotgun build for him. I have velocity for the torgue shotguns. If I don't end up using them I will probably drop those points. I may also drop bore if the pierce feature isn't good enough or when I know all the crit spots really well.

I am hoping accuracy still tightens bullet spread. Depending on reload speed I might pick up killer and move a few skills around based on mods.
