Bare with me, the math might be off--feel free to fix it, really--and this data does not include things EXTREMELY important to the DPS process, including class mods and badass ranks. It also assumes that you hit every single shot. Just consider it to be a very generalized idea of the kind of damage each character does with non-elemental weapons.
Damage assumes that every character uses a non-elemental 1 damage, 8 firerate, 18 clip pistol. (Reason for the pistol: It's the only weapon type that anyone has a direct damage boost to, besides Zero's ascension skill which is a different kind of damage dealing)
The following builds were used for the data: http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/gunzerker.php?555050050510505013000000000000000 http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/siren.php?050000000050050140000505410550 http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/commando.php?50505000005005505500050000000000 http://talent.87bazillion.com/2/assassin.php?505050500050055105400000000000
I don't know Crayon, with the ability to see the crit spot, it does lead to much better chances.
Oh I'm all for Zer0's best DPS as long as he's critting. But others have debated it with some good points. I guess it all comes down to weapons/critting or not to elemental/non elemental or gunzerking. Just varies too much to give a definitive answer on.
360 only ATM. I need a new PC. Currently awaiting: Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Halo 4, Black Ops 2.
True. Min/maxing is always fun, but typically, at least for me, the first run is always just kill and have fun. I'll worry more about this stuff later when PC has had a chance to data mine and when we know how difficult Teramorphus and other raid style bosses will be.
