My xbox won't read the disc...

Could anyone offer me advice on this? It reads everything else perfectly fine, but it won't read Borderlands. I even went and got a new copy of it today, and it still does the same thing.

What Xbox console do you have?

Turn your 360 off. Take out all the plugs and Inputs. Put them back in again and turn the 360 on. Try the disc again.

Your Xbox is illiterate. It happens man. It's a growing pandemic. Microsoft seriously needs to increase the budget for the educational system so we can start tackling this problem head on.

That seemed to have worked. It would read, but when it started up the main title screen, it would say that the disc was unreadable. But now, it seems fine. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

Only thing I can come up with is the consoles out of date so the newer game may not play on it. I could be horribly wrong. But if u have gone back as gotten a new copy that's all I can think of. I would try calling Xbox and see what they say.

It's a Xbox 360 game not a Xbox 360 Slim Only game.

As far as I'm aware, out of date isn't a term that can apply to a console, they aren't PC's. A 360 game will play on a 360.
