Best solo class?

I like to do the story first by myself. Maya isn't doing the trick for me. What's the easiest class to get through the story?

I'v been using zero and his vanish is very good for getting out of bad situations :D. And later down his bloodshed skilltree. He can pretty much stay invisible as long as he kills enemies

I think you can manage with every class, I played through as Axton and his turret(s) was helpful for managing large groups of enemies (plus the phalanx shield is great).

Looking forward to- Bioshock: Infinite, Borderlands 2

Zer0, if you're smart and can play tactically.

Otherwise, Axton is the way to go. His turret tears **** up, no contest. Just plop it down, run away, and let it handle all the work.

Axton.

Salvador might be the best but you have to actually stay up to date with the gear and guns. The Commando can really just deck out his turret and be fine up to a point.

Haven't tried Zero yet

I think they all have skills that can help when playing solo.

I'm playing as Salvador though, and the fact that gunzerking gives you a lot of health and ammo back is really useful. I just need to keep reminding myself that I don't become invincible when using it, because I always just run into the middle of everyone when using it.

Gunzerker owns. You get surrounded just go ape**** and everything gets Swiss cheesed.

I have a bad habit of doing that also.

Don't know of a definite best (if there even is one, seems to depend on the player), but I'm rolling with Zer0 as soon as I start my solo run. Seems like a lot of fun too, based on the posts I've read here.
