Should they nerf The Bee?

And if I choose to do that, what can you do about it? You have no power over how other people play and enjoy their game, though you probably wish you did.

You're right. Doesn't change the fact that it's imbalanced.

It's a single player game. Nuff said.

Balance makes them so much more enjoyable though. Obsidian's patches for NV are a prime example.

ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?

First off, this game isn't single player to all of you people who say it is. It has a single player option, but it is not single player.

Stopped reading there, lol. If it were a multiplayer game with a single player OPTION, what would happen if you tried to play without an internet connection? You wouldn't be able to play. However.. since I can play this offline, on my PC, without even being connected to a network, it's a single player game with a multiplayer option.

Also, the game is perfectly balanced and playable when you're solo. Try to learn how the game actually functions before you preach about it.

I don't know if you guys know this but BL2 has an online component. Everything you do online can and will affect another person's enjoyment of the game. Duping, modding, using the Bee, screaming on the mic like a 12 year old, everything. If you cannot understand that, then you will never have a credible opinion on nerfing/buffing/patching.

So because I appear "online" but have it set to "friends only" I am affecting YOUR gameplay? Interesting...

Pretty much this. The games like.. say.. Dark Souls, aren't linked by constant threats of invasion, gravelording, or summoning signs - the only way to play with other people is having them join when your game is open. That's the only way they can possibly affect your game - take that away, and they can't affect your game, or do anything to make you have less fun.

What don't people understand about this?

I use the Bee for the sole purpose of OBLITERATING enemies fast. For Gearbox to tweak this would make the shield 100% useless to me, and I wager the majority of other players.

The majority of players want the Bee shield, so for Gearbox to cater to the minority by doing any tweaking of any kind is just wrong. Worst of all, they'll probably release it in the same download patch that contains the fix for the freezing issue, so I'll have no choice but to download it.

Maybe instead of tweaking items in the game, they should work on fixing the game breaking issues first.

Insulting people again, shouldn't expect less from people on that side of the argument.

They already are. There is a video from Gearbox talking about how they are tweaking the Bee because that's what the gaming community wants. Not sure who said they wanted this.

There's no insult in that post. But, he's right - Gearbox will probably cater to the vocal minority and destroy the shield for those of us who actually like it.

It's a shame, too.. when I'm at max level, I want to feel like a bad***. And with the amount of enemies that can still cheapshot you and kill you down in one hit, the Bee shield makes a great amount of difference.. I really hope it doesn't get nerfed. I'll be pissed if it does. :|
