I think that Gearbox should add an 'Ice/Freeze' element to BL3.

I know this would seem more suited to a magic game, but I still think it would be cool if you shot bullets infused with liquid nitrogen.
The effect could be to temporarily freeze the opponent, but it has a much lower chance than other elements.

That could also work.
If it was freeze, I wouldn't suggest a permafreeze. Just temporary. Hence the lower chance, since that would be very effective in combat.

Daze?

They're not going to say no because of the implication.

My only concern would be the above mentioned Daze, and how (let's be honest) completely stupid broken it was.

If a freeze effect went into BL3, and I hope it would, it should only slow enemies, and not do all the other nasty things that Daze did.

Maybe guns that do 3/4 of the damage of guns of the same level, but has a chance to slow and a small chance to completely freeze when enemies have low health? Same with grenades.

Also, freakin' elemental flamethrowers.

Being a Roland player, I'd not heard of daze before now.

But, based on what I've read about it just now (on the wiki) I don't think it should be like Daze.

when i first saw slag, i thought that's what it would do. since it sounds like sludge or something.

instead it just acts like corrosive minus the damage over time

Those two Dinobots really don't sound alike.
