One more thing about nerfing

In a lot of games, if a patch comes along that you don't like, you don't have to download it. The punishment is you can't sign in to xbox live thus you lose that part of the experience. However, you are still able to play the game by yourself and enjoy whatever glitch makes you happy. Unfortunately, with BL2, one has to be signed in to play their profiles' character, right? Or am I an idiot and missing something entirely? If I'm not, can someone explain to me gow that is fair? To have no choice but to lose something that you enjoy?

You can always refuse to download the patch and play offline. You don't have to be online to play the game.
