The Bee grossly overcentralized the metagame. You wouldn't see this kind of backlash if Gearbox had decided to nerf something like The Cradle.
The shield itself may not have deserved a nerf but fixing the bugs associated with amp shields will certainly improve the health of the game.
The individuals complaining about this update are likely the same folk who will be the first to dupe modded weapons, methinks. In that manner, is this truly affecting your ability to face zero challenge?

Do any of you that whined and cried about the bee shield realize you can set your game to invite only and Noone is forcing you to play with anyone you don't want to?
Quit insulting people, it makes you look stupid.
Item was broken, needed to be fixed. It's exactly like duping; it's ignore-able, but it's also a problem that needs to be fixed.
You realize its not a competitive game right? If you don't like the item don't use it, if you do use it. Can you explain to me why it had to be needed? If I want to kill a boss in under 10 seconds let me it doesn't affect you. If you don't want me in your game don't make it open to the public There problem solved
I like the way you think, bro. It looks like the whiners have won this time around, though. Yeah, it's a bummer, but sh*t happens.

Stop acting like games shouldnt be atleast semi-bug free on release.
It's 1 shield. 1 shield. Granted, the DLC was glitched-riddled and a mess, and I can agree that they should have tested that. The core game though is fine, and it's just the shield that's problematic (as well as duping, but as great as it'd be to fix it, there's no true fix towards it)
