I'm level 43 ATM. Went down the guerilla tree, the slagging turret is awesome.
Then went to gunpowder for impact and metal storm, also picked up the longbow tech for the health on the turret. I may switch to the shield on the turret once I'm at high enough level to have it and max impact, as I really like the health regen in the survival tree. What do you prefer? --- "Quantity is job number 1"
I use this build and pair it up with a Legendary Soldier class mod. When my turret is deployed, I end up doing about 75-80% extra gun damage and that's without my turret coating everything in slag. --- Dib: Sorry, I'm late. Horrible nightmare visions! Ms. Bitters: It's called life, Dib. Sit down.
Maxing ready is a complete waste if you have and are using the legendary mod. You'd be much, much better served to put those extra 4 in Willing, but that's up to you, lol. Diminishing returns on 5/5 resourceful as well.
You could say the same for Slayer of Terramorphous, but, you know, level 43. 50 has plenty of room for max Willing and 1 Impact/Expertise to take advantage of the skill points from the Slayer/Legendary mod.
No love for Onslaught? Moving at high speed while putting out extra damage? I especially love that skill for its ability to counter the effects of the Fabled tortoise shield. --- I like RAM. It sounds aggressive. Let's RAM everything, even the gigabytes. - SuperDoodleMan

Being able to reload 80% faster than normal is really helpful especially if you fall into FFYL.
Lol, have you even attempted to put some thought into the actual DPS benefit of your decisions? That extra 32% reload speed is nothing DPS wise compared to Onslaught, which you completely neglected for Laser Sight and Grenadier in your build.
Do the math, children. Think about it. Is 4 skill points worth a 32% reload speed bonus when you are already going to get a 48% reload speed bonus with just one point? Keep in mind the diminishing returns when combined with your bad ass rank : )
Double up requires 25 points above it in Guerrilla tho, so Willing is still the best option to spend the last 3 points on, because everything else is useless.
