Anyone else get a serious Firefly vibe from Jakobs guns?

Was thinking about this today. Especially the green and blue rarity. Once you get into the purples (and in turn everything has more gold on it than Mr. T's neck) it kinda loses that feel.

So you're saying revolvers in this game remind you of revolvers from other things? Reminds me of Back to the Future personally.

Yes.

The "Space-Western" revolvers remind me of a show that featured numerous Space-Western revolvers. :P

Curious, though: ...why Back To the Future?

Most likely by being a revolver in a western themed sci-fi.

Though personally I was always reminded more by the shotguns and assault rifles myself.

I have seen firefly, just trying to understand how the revolvers in firefly are somehow different looking from say oh any western ever..

The guns in firefly didn't really stand out for me.
