You're better off hanging out on the official X360 tech forums if you want to know that kind of stuff.

Everyone here seems oblivious to any of the problems plaguing this game (or else they've already moved to the above forum.)

Funny how GameFaqs tags the word "faqs" as mispelled.

Here's the answer to the topic title from the forum that has a clue.

Seems we aren't the only clueless ones.

Nice job trying to brag though.

Maybe it failed certification like the level up patch in the last game? Maybe?

They're not going to say no because of the implication.

The two weeks it takes microsoft to certify a patch it's basically testing to see if it will work on the xbox hardware and with the software it's a slight bug check to see if it works properly on the system. It doesn't catch everything.

If the patch fails it goes back to the developer and then have to fix the reasons it doesn't work. Usually when patches are late they fail certification.

No one knows for sure exactly what about the final patch to level up 8 failed or didn't release on time but it was later than promised and gearbox was saying they had techinical issues.

Usually means certification failure.

Really *Microsoft*? :(

Not really. Microsoft didn't release a game full of progress-erasing bugs. Gearbox did.

While Gearbox released the game with bugs, they also put the patch through to Microsoft weeks ago. That's what I'm referring to. The patch is done unless it fails and goes back to them.
