Ya Moxxi paintings are shared. My friend online tested it out, he already had 9 before I came online and when I joined his game and picked up my first one he got the achievement.

I can understand the logic, and it wouldn't be such a problem if:

a) Gee and Hyperius were guaranteed to drop a decent amount of crystals, like Pete;
b) Gee and Hyperius weren't such terrible bosses, and;
c) there were more than two decent items in the Oasis vendor (relic and shield).

Yes, exactly this.

Also, it's like if money you got in the DLC didn't count towards For the Hoard or something. So stupid.
