Jump "Pull" Glitch - newly discovered? - video proof!

*This post contains VERY slight spoilers, revealing the name of a boss*

Sorry if this is old news. A few searches turned up no results, and a search for "glitch" turned up way too many results for me to sift through them all. I didn't see anything that looked like it pertained to this, and I had definitely never seen this before, so here I am posting it.

We have NOT tried to recreate this glitch yet, so one or many of the following conditions may be entirely trivial.

I was playing a three-player game tonight with two friends; we've been playing together since level 1, at the same pace. I play as Zero, one plays as Sal, and another plays as Maya.

We were in Thousand Cuts. We had just fought our way all the way up the mountain to BUNK3R, as you can see in the videos (linked below) this takes place right before zoning to his area. The door has three chest right next to it on its right: a gun chest, and two ammo crates. Upon opening one of the ammo crates, a mechanized Jimmy Jenkins leaped out and began attacking us. Our Maya immediately used Phaselock on him, and I activated stealth. I waited a little for the countdown to approach 0, and then I activated the execute melee attack on him while he was still Phaselocked. The resulting dash into midair flung me off the edge, to the right of the door. I died, and respawned.

As my two friends were messing around and checking the gun chest, it didn't take me long to notice my jumping was odd. I couldn't navigate regularly in mid-air, but more peculiarly was that when I pointing the control stick in a certain direction, I flew a great distance in midair. In fact, this caused me to fling myself off the edge of the map several more times before I realized it was always flinging me in the same direction - towards the point I had originally activated that execute attack and fell off.

We had a little fun messing around with this, and neither dying nor zoning fixed this glitch. As we left the map to go fight BUNK3R, the glitch persisted. After finishing the quest and going back to Sanctuary, it was slightly better and did not "fling" me anymore - but mind you, this was NOT purely from zoning as it was still doing it IN BUNK3R's map.

I'm pretty sure that about wraps it up for the conditions leading up to the glitch. Now here's some video proof. I'm the one playing Zero, the one whom the glitch is affecting. My mate was smart enough to record this on his phone and upload it to Youtube.

EDIT: Note that in BOTH videos I zoom towards the same general area. I could NOT do this in any direction I wanted, I could ONLY do it in that direction. That is why in the second video in the beginning when I jump, I do not zoom forward. I only zoom in that one direction.

Again! Sorry if this is old news! Anyone seen this glitch before?

A glitch with no practical use, it seems.

I'm just a face in the crowd. Nothing to worry about.

Probably similar to the glitch in B1 where under certain circumstances, you maintained Brick's increased speed he has during Berzerk mode after it ended.

Press LB and immediately press the inventory/map menu button and it was way easier to glitch that way. And it was a lot more useful (although a lot less funny) than this glitch for zero.

Definitely didn't mean to imply it was useful, just very funny haha. Though if recreated under controlled circumstances maybe it could be used to reach really funny spots you couldn't otherwise get to.
