Borderlands 2

I believe this is getting patched tomorrow, but I have a question about farming Flesh Stick. From what I've read, the best set up is to be on playthrough 2.5 before heading up to 50 via Fleshy. However, with the patch coming out tomorrow, there's no way I'll be able to get to that point on my character (I just bought the game last week).

Currently, my char is on her 2nd playthrough, and I'm blowing through story-only quests, trying to get through the game. I am not to the Flesh Stick quest yet, so my question is, could I Flesh Stick during the 2nd playthrough (not 2.5)? Are there problems with doing it outside of playthrough 2.5?

OK, so the only drawback is that it would take longer to level this way. Is it still worth it to do? Is the XP difference significant enough to not do it?

Alrighty then. I'll try to power my through the game in the hopes of making it to Fleshy in my 2.5 playthrough before the patch. Don't see it happening, but I'm always up for a challenge.
