Firing increases accuracy?

So I have discovered that I absolutely HATE this mod on sniper rifles. Is this the consensus, or do I just not know how to use it properly?

That's exactly why you should go with Hyperion SMGs instead.

The trick on hyperion guns is always delay half a second before shooting the second shot from zoom, you will find they can be very effective.

I always hate the 'fires as fast as you can pull the trigger' bit.

Though, I do enjoy the irony of seeing it on items that allow only one shot between reloads.
