How do you get an infinity pistol?

All I know is you can kill Doc but even after 300 tries, there is still nothing. Can anyone help?

come on snake, you don't have to lie about how many times you killed Doc Mercy to get an Infinity pistol

It's luck. Got one killing him my first playthrough, didn't even notice till about 3-4 missions later.

I got one right at the start of the game from a bullymong pile. It's only level 6 :(

i got one from one of the chests in the treasure room in the pirate dlc
