spfurm01Posted 1/17/2013 9:02:57 PM | No TC, you're not alone. I didn't get my first legendary until my second character was made...I got a level 6 or 8 kerblaster from midgemong
To be fair, I didn't go out of my way to farm legendaries (IMO I don't even like 70% of them) before that point, I had only farmed the warrior about 20-30 times before starting a new character, and that was mostly for finding some nice purples.

H_Panic22Posted 1/17/2013 9:06:22 PM | I got my first "Legendary" the summer between 8th and 9th grade in the woods behind a school. In a very apt metaphor, I farmed my (same age) 14 year old "co-op partner" for hundreds of hours and got nothing.
Then I asked a high school girl of 16 politely and she duped me right up. Moral of the story...hooray for duping?

Yes, but maybe TC didn't want to include illegitimate means (such as asking for dupes), now if it was legitimately traded, then thats a different story. Or maybe TC just wanted to include in a poll of how long it took you to acquire a legendary weapon on your own (with no outside help)? On-topic, it took me around 14 hours I believe, then started a new character and took less than 1 hour (Knuckledragger dropped a level 3 legendary pistol for that character) --- XBL GT/PSN: Tsuruke. |
Social_SinPosted 1/17/2013 9:14:20 PM | I just clicked 10-20 as I'm not at my 360 right now and I'm not sure how long it took me to get to TVHM, it may possibly have been the 2nd choice.
Either way I was level 30 since killing the warrior raised me from 29 to 30 but I got a Barking Volcano from my first warrior kill on my first character. I don't find them as often as in BL1 but I'm cool with that, just had two emperor's drop in my last run through of that assassin mission in the steam plant haha.

Soon as I got the Doc Mercy quest, I farmed him for exp and got an Infinity after about an hour. |
