How essential is Blood Soaked Shields for Gaige?

Tell me your thoughts on Blood Soaked Shields. Is it a requirement for Gaige, or can you live without it? Figuratively, of course. ;)

Wll - outside of Boss farming (which isn't her strong suit anyways) it makes her pretty much immortal - so...you decide :P

i hear it works well if you have a bee shield or something along those lines, I have never used it though.

Works well with all amplify and nova shields
