How does playthrough 2.5 work?

Okay so after beating the game I've started TVHM mode, which I've beaten yesterday. How do I activate playthrough 2.5? Is is possibe that it doesn't scale everything to 50 because I've completed the final missions in the wrong order? (I've killed Jack before doing the last few story missions, but now everything is complete)

Supposedly, once you kill Jack in TVHM, all enemies will be set to 50-52 and all quest you haven't yet accepted to 50, and all shops to 48-50.

After you beat jack you have to kill terra to get the enemies to scale to 50-52.

False. Doing the final story quest and having the credits roll activates 2.5

Source: I just did it last night, no Terra kill.

Note that any quests you have accepted but not completed will be at whatever level you accepted them at. Everything else will be 50.

There are glitches where if you use the option to skip story missions after completing them in someone else's game, the enemies will not scale up. I don't think there is a fix from Gearbox yet.

what he said- dont skip any missions- if you do, you are locked out of 2.5. i ve screwed that up twice now. (it is cool looking to beat a playthrough without doing the side quest and seeing a mile long list of all level 50 quest.)
