Got a problem with Pete

I just killed Pyro Pete and I killed my self using the elevator, I dropped down to kill him again and it says he's locked? I have also tried killing myself with grenades. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I'm playing offline if that helps at all (changing the dates and all that)

The lockouts were removed with a hot fix so as long as you play online you should be fine I believe.

Thanks, but I can't play online at the moment, is there no way to kill Pete quickly without having to change the date and dashboard offline?
