Generally speaking it raises the amount of loot dropped, but against the raid bosses it doesn't make any difference because it sets to four-player difficulty whenever you fight them. Maybe it does increase it, but since there isn't a way to fight without it setting, can't know for sure. This is based off of my observations. --- SCREAMINGBEATSS posted... Books? No, it alternates the rarity chances of individual parts and attachments of the guns to change.
You're more likely to get the same sniper rifle with a Jakobs Grip and Damage attachment with two more people then without.
Also, the Rare drop relic is worthless, it's multiplicative and only increases by .5, and four people using it doesn't make it any better. --- Glock o'clock
