Weapon Parts? Significant?

Here's a couple of links for grips and sights:

With the grips, shotguns are the exception. But I find Torgue, Tediore, Hyperion, and Bandit grips most consistent across gun types.

Torgue - a nailed or bolted additional metal piece
Tediore - boxy shape
Hyperion - angled letter H shape (especially on the SMGs and Snipers - pistols are missing the middle 'dash')
Bandit - metal bands wrapping around

There's detailed info at the borderlands wikia site.

http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Search?ns0=1&ns14=1&search=parts&fulltext=Search&ns0=1&ns14=1&advanced=

Look for the searches which say {weapontype}/parts. First one in that search which is what you want is Revolver/parts.

^ Those look like they pertain to the first game.

Ah jeez, I think you're right.

I haven't had time to read this link, but it's from Gearbox's BL2 forum.

I'll check it out more when I get back home (have a few errands).
