Shh...nobody tell him that DVA Infinity is a real gun. It'd ruin his latest attempt at cleverness.

Besides, Gwen's Head can do anything Hornet can do, and you get all the flavors. It does admittedly handle corrosive better, naturally.

So after playing around with Axton for a few days, this is the final build I have gone for which seems to suit my play style with him; -

In regards to my style, I prefer to focus on Explosive guns with a high quality Deadly Bloom shield.

I currently have a Casual Ravager, DP Unkempt Harold, Ruthless Mongol and Deep Veruc (but swap this out for a Scorpio on occasions)

I am a fan of Dahl stuff hence why I have points in Duty Calls and use Scorpio, Veruc, Lascaux and Gwens Head etc.

To sum up, 75% explosive 25% non elemental guns. I use a 30% explosive damage relic and a Blue Class Mod which adds +3 to Battlefront and +4 to Sentry.

I know I need a better Mod......

why crisis management over ready snoop? i love me some reload speed. helps a ton with DPS. aside from that, its very similar to the build i use. mine is built around pure fire rate though

i use a sheriffs badge, and a specialist class mod. gives me 11/5 metal storm and 10/5 in onslaught. after a kills, my fire rate and damage is insane.

very solid build. great for mobs and raid bosses.

To be honest 'Crisis Management' seems to go well with the Deadly Bloom shield. Once the sheild is down the +28% gun/melee damage I get, adds to the Nova damage omitted in CQC.

I like the idea of 'Ready' but 'Crisis Management' gives me something else when surrounded by the bad guys

never tried a deadly bloom myself. i love my big boom blaster on my axton too much to use anything else. 69k capacity before perks. slow recharge, but able mitigates that entirely. great great shield
